Nephrops norvegicus is also known popularly as the Dublin Bay Prawn or Norway Lobster. The stocks of prawns in depths down to 60 fathoms (109m) have been studies since 1956, off the south of Ireland, from Mine Head, Co. Waterford, to the Kenmare River, Co. Kerry. The present paper is concerned with data obtained from the research vessel Cú Feasa, together with other samples collected from commercial fishing boats, during the years 1963 to 1966 inclusive.en_GB
