dc.description | The Explorers Wild About Wildlife on the Seashore Visual Arts materials include outline pictures of a range of Shellfish, Crustaceans, Fish, Jellies, Starfish and Urchins species. The pictures have been drawn by Sam Roscoe for children to use for inspiration in their creative activities. They can be used to inspire children’s imagination, observation and curiosity. The visual art templates may also be used to explore using art materials and tools as well as mixing colours. The sheets are divided into the animal groups. The Explorers Education Programme engages with primary school children, teachers and the education network, creating marine leaders and ocean champions in Ireland. We are the leading outreach programme in Ireland that delivers ocean literacy to primary schools, promoting awareness, knowledge and engagement of our ocean wealth and identity. The Explorers Education Programme is funded by the Marine Institute, Ireland’s state agency for marine research, technology development and innovation. The Explorers Education Programme is managed by the Camden Education Trust and we work with amazing outreach teams all around Ireland, as well as other organisations that love the ocean.
