EXPLORERS CLIMATE CHANGE SUPERHEROES MODULE 5: Investigating the Causes, Effects, & Impacts of Climate Change includes three sections that can be divided up into the delivery of subjects including natural and social sciences, geography, history, languages, and arts. The PowerPoint presentation encourages children to investigate climate change by critically analysing the natural and human causes of global warming and climate change. The presentation helps children identify the effects of climate change, such as extreme weather patterns, including storms and droughts, sea level rising, ocean acidification and more. The impacts of climate change on humans and their environment are identified, such as the destruction of homes and the loss of land. Learning about climate change's effects worldwide highlights the importance of preparing for challenges together. It also enables children to take positive actions that help drive solutions at a community and global level.
