Abstract
This Lesson Plan helps teachers to guide children as they learn key concepts about Phytoplankton. They will develop their skills and competencies by using language, communication and visual arts activities to help them learn various species and their impacts on the wider world.
Description
This lesson plan helps guide teachers to encourage and engage students in developing their understanding of key concepts of phytoplankton with a focus on various species and their role in the food web and impacts on the planet and humans in particular. Children will learn to develop their skills and competencies using art and language activities. They will gain confidence in their knowledge by creatively expressing their observations visually as well as through language.
