Precursor to the Report of the Sea and Inland Fisheries, 1846

The Marine Institute library archive has a collection of the Report on the Sea and Inland Fisheries of Ireland for 1852-1987, and associated precursor reports. Over the years the series title changed many times with variations including: ‘Report on Irish Fisheries’, ‘Report of Commissioners of Fisheries Ireland’, ‘Report on the Sea and Inland Fisheries’, amongst others. These reports have been digitised and optimised using OCR. Both the original photographed images and the cleaned OCR images are presented here. The Marine Institute takes no responsibility for the individual use of these documents and strongly encourages proofreading the OCR edition against the original as some flaws may be present.
